For this project we were tasked with choosing a design company we liked and creating work inspired by their style. I chose DKNG Studios. Mr. Kuhlken and Mr. Goldman, owners and designers at DKNG, began their careers by designing band and gig posters and this remains one of their specialties.

In the spirit of their work I chose a band I enjoy, Faun (a German, pagan, folk band) and made posters for an upcoming gig. The poster designs are based on their song, "Wainamoinen," and while the first is intended to be highly illustrative the second, as per our assignment, is meant to give a bit of information on the company whose style I referenced (DKNG Studios).
